Position Summary:

This position is a frontline leadership position.
It is responsible for the coordination of care of patients and families and accountable for scheduling, coordinating and maintaining resources necessary on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
In conjunction with the Dept. Director, the incumbent will plan, organize, direct and evaluate people and activities for the department to ensure high quality and cost-effective patient care.
The incumbent has fiscal responsibility for resources that are contributors from other departments who impact the services of the department.
The success of the department depends significantly on the incumbent’s ability to participate well with others and/or collaborate with other managers, dept. leaders and hospital stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:.
* Current RCP license. BLS, PALS, NRP (Respiratory Shift Manager for Neonatal and Pediatric Units);
* BLS, ACLS, PALS (Respiratory Shift Manager for Adult Units) RRT Credential (required for new hire; within 12 months for internal)
* NPS Credential (required for new hire; preferred for internal) ACCS credential (required for new hire; preferred for internal)
Bachelors Degree (required for new hire; preferred for internal)
