Centrifuge Operator – Experience with Dewatering Equipment (Belt Press, Filter Press, Centrifuge and Dredge). Job requires extensive travel out of town / cross-country. TWIC Required.

Practices safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working. Provide industrial services using appropriate techniques including handwork or manual work in accordance with established methods and applicable regulations. Manually cleans, installs, fits, repairs valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on projects Understanding of equipment maintenance and ability to perform maintenance. Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness in the cleaning areas. Reports complaints, rejections or safety issues to management. Checks equipment at the start of each shift performs other duties as required.


Assist in the operation of industrial waste treatment equipment or power tools as directed and in accordance with established company and client’s facility rules.

Hooks up and breaks down hoses using proper tools when directed by Operator or Project Manager. Cleans up work area and equipment after work is complete.

Assist in maintaining safe and clean work place.

Assists in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity.

Wears the personal protective equipment prescribed by posted signs, written instructions, and work permits. Also, wears additional protective equipment specified by his/her supervisor or clients Safety Department.

Promotes safety through own actions and work habits. Reports all accidents and near misses, involving self, company vehicles, or other job personnel to his/her supervisor immediately.

Does not operate alone must be able to follow the direction of supervisor

Basic safety courses including site specific procedures; All required local training, Successful completion of all required and OSHA training as a condition of employment

Must pass a pre-employment physical.

Must have access to a telephone.

Must be willing to be on a 24 hour per day call out basis, 7 days per week.

If away from place of residence, must maintain regular contact with the company.

Is willing and able to work overtime, shift work, rotating schedules, irregular hours, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as business needs may require

Must have two years of verifiable experience as a Centrifuge Technician or equivalent


Develops a basic working knowledge of all services provided by the company Reading, writing and comprehending in English Basic math skills Complete OSHA 29CFR 1910.120 (40 Hour HAZWOPER Training) An Operator is responsible for opening and maintaining industrial waste treatment equipment at the job site and all required functions associated with waste water treatment equipment provided by the company.
