Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manages and effectively communicates timelines for all purchasing activities to meet project milestones and Purchasing deliverables Responsible for the procurement of all non-stock materials, researching, implementing and managing suppliers for assigned projects Manage the subcontracting of manufacturing to ensure that company standards, schedules and quality expectations are maintained Managing all aspects of finish samples from suppliers to meet the expectations of the clients and their material selections Act as Liaison between Project Team and Procurement team to ensure the sourcing of preferred suppliers on all projects Ensures that the supplier complies with Goebel’s quality standards and purchasing procedures Proactively research and verify new and alternative sources of supply Work closely with estimating to ensure materials costs are current and accurate for future bids Maintain required purchasing information in ERP system Assist in project VE/VA activities with supplier support Conduct supplier site visits and audits Maintain supplier metrics in ERP system and review with key suppliers Coordinates with Project Executives, Project Managers, Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure supplier deliverables meet the project requirements Works with manufacturing/logistics to ensure component availability and supplier readiness on new programs, as required Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and delivery and work to develop programs that produce sustainable results Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Procurement Manager
