MidwestHR is celebrating its 20th year in business and are on target to grow our sales team in 2017! We are looking to add another Business Development Manager to join or organization!

Our business development team is responsible for introducing our services to small and medium businesses to help them outsource employer administrative tasks, contain costs and minimize liability while providing their employees with life changing and enhancing benefits.
As a Business Development Manager, you will develop relationships and grow your centers of influence to target and convert prospects into clients using a consultative selling approach. With the guidance of the Director of Sales, you will find success in:
Developing and executing leads from your own efforts, networks and centers of influence
Following-up on leads provided through company marketing and efforts
Establishing a trusted advisor relationship with prospects and gaining insight of their business needs
Working with the MidwestHR executive team members to develop pricing on services and benefits
Following through all aspects of the sales process including proposal presentation, benefit comparison, technology demonstration and closing of deal.
We work with companies of all sizes and industries and though we concentrate our efforts in the midwest, our Business Development Managers are not confined to a territory. This will allow you to capitalize and expand your influence and maximize your income potential.
What You’ll Offer:
At least 3 years of sales experience a B2B sales environment
Are highly motivated and willing to work hard to develop client relationships
Can easily develop and foster networks and engage with centers of influence
Have the ability to execute on a strategic, consultative sales approach
Possess strong analytical skills and understanding of financial concepts
Have the talent to speak with key decision makers and conduct group presentations
Possess a
Life and Health Group Insurance License or willing to sit for the exam within the first six (6) months of employment (requirement)

PEO, insurance agency, HR consulting or payroll service firm are able to shorten the amount of time they need for training and are out cultivating prospects soon after hire.
