Position Description Overview

First Data is currently looking for a permanent, highly motivated, full-time Desktop Support Specialist. This individual will be part of a dynamic global support team providing support for First Data Owner Associates. This includes the responsibility of identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user help requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of support functions with other members of the IT department. The IT Specialist will also contribute to problem resolution by providing support to Owner Associates both locally and remotely. This position is based in the Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

Job Responsibilities
* This role will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities: Implement, update, and maintain enterprise level PC, Laptop, VDI and MAC Devices.
* Provide Global Level II Support

* SCCM Deployments and Reporting

* Advanced Troubleshooting Skills across multiple platforms

* Managing workload through Remedy Ticketing System

* Provide weekly activity reports describing activities accomplished

* Communicate effectively both orally and written with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialists

Scope of Job

Supports complex business projects

Meet service level agreement on all work assigned through ticketing system

Successfully complete project deliverables

May coach and mentor less experienced Analysts

Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with leadership to implement change

Job Requirements
* Associates degree or equivalent experience

* 4 years of experience working on with computers and troubleshooting issues in a large scale corporate environment

* Superior written and verbal communication skills

* Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high-expectation environment

* Excellent technical writing, presentation, and documentation skills

* Must have superb team and collaboration skills

* Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Change Agent who embraces and promotes positive change

* Experience in maintaining SCCM including analyzing log files, validating deployment plans and troubleshooting performance issues

* VDI administration and support experience

* Proficient knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office Products, Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft OSX
